Chysto Exterior Cleaning respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request a quote or book our services.
Chysto Exterior Cleaning is operated by Luke Connolly, a sole trader based in Waterlooville, Hampshire. Luke Connolly is the data controller responsible for deciding how your personal information is used.

Depending on your enquiry or booking, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, property address and details of the work you require.
We also hold relevant messages, photographs, quotes, booking information, invoices, payment records and records of your marketing preferences.
Our website and form providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, when you visit the website or load the enquiry form.
Please only send information relevant to your enquiry.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and carry out work, communicate about bookings, manage payments and deal with questions or complaints.
We rely on the following lawful bases:
Contract: preparing quotes at your request and providing services you book.
Legal obligation: keeping records required for tax, accounting and other legal duties.
Legitimate interests: managing general correspondence, keeping appropriate records of our work, protecting our business and resolving disputes, where these interests do not override your rights.
Consent: sending optional marketing emails and using identifiable property photographs for marketing where you have agreed.
You do not have to provide information, but we may be unable to prepare a quote or deliver a service without the necessary contact and job details.
We use HubSpot to receive and manage customer enquiries and related information. Our website displays a HubSpot-hosted form within the quote page. Information you submit through that form is sent to HubSpot for us to manage and respond to.
Loading the form also connects your browser to HubSpot, even before you submit an enquiry.
Our HubSpot account’s selected data hosting location is Germany, within the European Union. This does not mean that all supporting processing takes place exclusively in Germany.
If you opt in, we may send occasional emails containing news and offers from Chysto Exterior Cleaning.
Subscribing is optional and does not affect your quote or booking. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from responding to your enquiry or sending information needed to manage an existing booking.
We may retain a limited record of your opt-out so we can respect your preferences.
We may take photographs to document surface condition and the work completed. These help us maintain an accurate record and address questions or disputes.
We will ask separately before using photographs of your property for marketing. You can decline without affecting your booking.
HubSpot provides our enquiry form and customer-management system. We use Google’s email service for correspondence, and Netlify hosts our website.
These services handle information relevant to their functions. Where necessary, we may also share relevant information with payment providers, accountants, insurers, professional advisers or public authorities to process payments, meet legal duties or handle claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
Our providers operate internationally, so some information may be processed outside the UK, including in the European Union and the United States.
HubSpot’s data-processing agreement provides for international transfers using recognised mechanisms, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum.
Google explains its international processing and transfer protections in its privacy policy. Further information is available in HubSpot’s Data Processing Agreement and Google’s Privacy Policy.
You can contact us for further information about the transfer arrangements relevant to your information and how to obtain details of applicable safeguards.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Embedded services, including our HubSpot form and any Google features it loads, may use cookies or similar technologies. Their operation can depend on your browser settings and interactions with those services.
These technologies are separate from the contact details you submit. Choosing to receive marketing emails does not amount to consent to website cookies.
Provider information is available in HubSpot’s cookie guidance and Google’s cookie information.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect how the embedded form works. You can contact us by telephone or email if you prefer not to use it.
We retain information according to its purpose rather than keeping everything indefinitely.
For enquiries, we consider whether discussions or follow-up remain active. For bookings and completed work, we consider accounting requirements, aftercare, complaints and the period during which a legal claim could arise.
For marketing, we consider your subscription status and whether the information remains necessary. If you unsubscribe, we stop marketing and retain only information needed for another lawful purpose, including respecting your opt-out.
We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy of certain information.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can always object to the use of your information for direct marketing.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
Some rights have exceptions, including where records must be retained to meet legal obligations. We may need to confirm your identity before responding to a request.
Please contact us using the details above if you have questions or concerns about your information.
You can also complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
