What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website or an embedded service stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser storage, work in a comparable way. They can be used to make a service work, to keep it secure, to remember your choices or to measure how it is used.

Our website

Our own website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies, and we do not set cookies of our own to track you. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which delivers the pages to your browser.

When you choose to load our enquiry form, we store a single note in your browser’s local storage to remember that you agreed, so we do not ask you again on your next visit. The note records the version of this policy you agreed to. You can remove it at any time (see “Your choices” below).

The enquiry form

Our enquiry form is provided by HubSpot and is shown on the Get a Quote page. It includes a spam check provided by Google. When the form is loaded, HubSpot and Google may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device, for example to protect the form against automated spam and to keep the service secure. In our own testing of the form we saw cookies set under Google’s domain, which is consistent with this.

These are not strictly necessary for you to view our website, so we do not load the form until you agree. Until then, nothing is requested from HubSpot or Google by the quote page. If you decline, you can still contact us by telephone on 023 9388 1487 or by email at chystoexteriorcleaning@gmail.com.

We have not listed individual cookie names or durations here because they are controlled by HubSpot and Google and can change. You can read more in HubSpot’s cookie information and Google’s cookie information.

If we change how the form works in a way that affects cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your agreement again before the form loads.

Fonts

Our website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when the fonts are requested. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

Links to other sites

Our footer links to our Facebook, Instagram and Google profiles. These are ordinary links and nothing is loaded from those sites until you click them. Their own cookie policies then apply.

Your choices

You can decline to load the enquiry form and contact us by telephone or email instead. You can withdraw your agreement at any time using the button below, or the “Withdraw my agreement” link shown under the form on the Get a Quote page. The form will then not load, and we will ask for your agreement again next time.

Withdrawing stops the form loading in future. It does not delete cookies that were already set on your device. To remove those, delete cookies for HubSpot and Google in your browser settings.
